My name is Tina Honarmandan. The name of this blog developed as I was reflecting on the names that I have been called throughout my life. As I have a very long surname and it is one to which people can’t pronounce very easily, I have experienced people trying to rhyme my first name. At primary school my teacher called me Tina Rina, at one point my friends called me Tiny Tina, but the most recent has been my manager at work calling me Tina Arena. So in honour of her I name this blog Tina Arena. It’s also nice as I feel that this blog is my arena of presenting my ideas and thoughts as I venture through life. An arena through the eyes of Tina, which is great as that rhymes too!
